    “Wei… WuXian,” he greeted, clearly not expecting to see him there, his eyes full of confusion and fear. “You-“
    Wei WuXian took a step away, tears building up in his eyes again. “Excuse me, Lan Xichen,” he mumbled, trying to run off, but feeling a hand catch his wrist. He stared at the floor for what felt like an eternity before he found enough courage to turn around and face the man.
    “Wei WuXian… your smell- I mean, you- heat,” he said, too polite to properly articulate what he was seeing and smelling. He quickly composed himself, a serious look in his eyes. “Did WangJi-“
    “No! No, it was my fault! If you could just not mention this to him-“
    “He marked you!” He said, incredulously.
    “It’s okay! I’ll be okay, please don’t tell him! If he wakes up and doesn’t remember, don’t tell him,” he begged. “He… Lan Zhan deserves a better omega.”
    “Wei WuXian, if you’re his mate,” he paused, seeing the scared look in Wei WuXian’s eyes. He sighed, and nodded, then pulled out a business card and a pen. “I… keep in contact with me. You were in heat… if… if something comes of it, know that I will help you in any way I can- without telling WangJi,” he quickly added, noticing that Wei WuXian hesitated to take it.

    Bing-ge vs Bing-mei divergent AU. Bing-mei did not manage to take Xin Mo from Bing-ge, and therefore couldn't return to Qing Jing Peak in time to prevent Bing-ge from abducting Shen Qingqiu back to the unaltered timeline of Proud Immortal Demon’s Way.

    While Shen Qingqiu awaits a rescue that may never come, he’s confronted with a world that is both like and very much unlike the novel he read as Shen Yuan, and must devise a way to keep himself from being horrifically tortured.

    It seems that honesty may very well be the best policy.
