“There are a lot of things I don't understand about this. About what you're telling me. You say you don't hate me and then, in the same breath, say you have feelings for me that I wouldn't want to know.”
“Because you wouldn't, because you'd hate me–” Hyunjin starts, but Minho interrupts him,
“I wouldn't hate you.”
Hyunjin pauses.
“Not even if I said I was in love with you?”
The words fill the air, and Minho's ears ring for a moment, frozen on the spot. For a fraction of a second it feels like the world has narrowed down to this; him and Hyunjin, this moment, this confession. Minho’s lips part, but he doesn't know what to say. Did he even hear that right? In love with him? As in…
“What?” He manages to ask between the fast blinking of his eyes, his voice coming out a little faded, a little breathless.
When Hyunjin starts to push Minho away out of the blue, the older man initially doesn't understand why – until he does.
Getting into a non-platonic arrangement with his bandmate without actually being in love with him is just a consequence. Except that Minho hadn't anticipated how easy it would be to fall for him, too.

Summary
Minho considers himself a pretty laid-back guy, for an alpha. He has never felt the need to be possessive over anything in his life before, having it all laid out to take but being too lazy to do it most of the time. He realizes now how costly that might be, with Hyunjin’s sweet and sating scent starting to sour fast inside the car.
Minho has Hyunjin, close enough to touch but just out of reach. He's fine with that.

Summary
Hyunjin is finding out things live, smiling rather lopsided and starting to feel manic. “You like that, don't you?” He gets no answer but he can see Minho swallowing thickly, a thumb digging into Hyunjin’s hip bone. “You really are a pervert.”
Minho bucks into him, fingertips sinking in real good now. Hyunjin is cut mid-giggle by a moan.
“Min-ah,” he gasps, on the edge and still so painfully far from where he needs to. He signals with a hand for his alpha to get closer. “If you don’t kiss me now I’ll really go and find a toy that knots me before you.”
Hyunjin and Minho still kind of suck at communication, but they work through it.
