He stared at himself in the mirror, fuck he hated the man looking back at him. He spread lines of coke over the sink in snorted them with practiced ease. He dusted his nose and looked at himself in the mirror once again. He faked a smile to himself, Angel Dust was a persona he was used to by now. All he’s ever done since he was 14 was fake. After almost a century of faking, he’s fucking exhausted of it. He doesn’t even know when he’s being real and when he’s faking it. Maybe Husk was right… maybe he wasn’t being authentic. But after a century of faking, how do you even know who you are anymore?
