“What are you thinking about, Gee?”
Frankie was lying parallel to him as they shared the same pillow. This close, his eyes still looked a bit puffy and sore, tired warm brown in the small light coming from the bedside lamp. He traced one hand over Frank’s cheek, caressing his face. He had seen it before, but it was still astonishing how good he looked when he cried.
“Were you really crying before I got here?” Gerard asked.
