Summary
ThistleClan is currently on bad terms with its neighbor, LilyClan. After losing many cats in a battle a few seasons ago started by LilyClan, they have been left devastated and trying to rebuild the Clan.
Amidst the dread and fear for the future, three kits are born to one of ThistleClan's healers, Mistshadow, and a warrior, Mallowfrost. When their grandparent and senior healer Fallowear receives a prophecy that she suspects may be about one of them, renewed hope surges through her—maybe, these kits will be the one to save ThistleClan.

It doesn't feel real. Walking into the medicine den with Laurelheather and Dewfang flanking him softly while the cool breeze streams through his dark fur doesn't feel real. The feeling of the gasp that claws its way out of his throat doesn't feel real. The sight of Fallenpaw, so small in her mossy nest, her silver eyes closed gently as if she were simply asleep, her flank continuously still and her body limp, it doesn't feel real.
His best friend Fallenpaw is dead.

What am I doing here? Wandering aimlessly had brought her to this… odd Twoleg den. It wasn’t closed off with just a wall that opened and closed (a ‘door’, she heard) so Twolegs could get in and out: it was large, the walls were red, and inside were a few huge Twoleg monsters. The sun shone off their stocky red bodies, and the glare of the light made her squint. One of them was smaller, slender and white with some streaks of red and blue along the side. There were a bunch of beams holding the inside up, like tree trunks, and vine-like structures hung from the ceiling. And, most importantly, there were a bunch of Twolegs gathered around a spot beside one ‘door’, meowing raucously among themselves.
Or: instead of dying in the ShadowClan attack, Rosetail is adopted by Firehouse 51.

“Why,” Hawkpaw finally asks, deathly calm, “did you say that?”
Leopardstar shrugs. “I didn’t see either of you coming up with an explanation. You’re welcome for covering your tails.” She ambles to her den and doesn’t look back at them.
Stormpaw can feel Hawkpaw’s gaze burning holes into the side of his head. He sighs and decides that he’s ready for this night to be over, so he trudges to the apprentice den. If Hawkpaw wants to stand outside and glare at Stormpaw from across the camp, let him.
It’s not like he's the one who just told all of RiverClan that they’re in love with each other.
