Summary
It had been a long time since Buck had picked up his guitar and played. Long enough that no one at the 118 knew that he could. But it's been a while since the infamous lawsuit and things aren't getting any better. So when the opportunity presents itself for Buck to play again he jumps at it. When things get even worse with the 118 Buck finishes writing and preforms an original song. It's not his fault he didn't notice his once family in the crowd until it's too late. After that everyone tries to fix what's broken, but some things are easier to fix than others and Buck's never had an easy life.

Summary
The teasing has never been malicious. If anything, it's the opposite. The 118 gives Buck hell because he's family, because they know he'll give it right back, and because sometimes messing with him is another way of saying, "we love you.".
So when they harmlessly joke about Buck being high maintenance, he laughs along.
At least, at first. Because eventually, what should be harmless suddenly sounds like every insecurity he's ever had about being too much.
And Eddie notices. He always notices.
