“How are you doing, birthday boy?” Stewy asks, a hand on Kendall’s knee. He’s still giggly and fuzzy around the edges, but Kendall looks fucked up, the kind of fucked up that borders on misery. His hair is plastered down with sweat, and there’s a smear of pink lipstick on his jaw.
“My dad called,” Kendall says in a faraway voice. His pupils are planets. “I missed it.”
