Now, there are two big problems comprising his predicament. To start off, Kei is not the type of person to make the first move. He’s more often been the subject of awkward highschool confessions, and even more awkward public approaches by strangers, asking for his number. He can’t imagine being the one to initiate contact. Secondly, he is almost certain that this insanely attractive man must already have someone. There’s no way somebody so captivating would be single, right?
He silently mourns his loss and tells himself— at least you can look at him, right? Just like the art on the walls of the city museum. Look, but don’t touch. Such a shame.

Summary
“Hey, can I try that?” Angel says, motioning to the smoke, before plucking it out from Aki’s lips without waiting for a reply. Aki feels his phantom touch in a haze of warmth. Hand still stupidly poised as if bringing the cigarette to his face, Aki watches as Angel sticks the point that had just been in his mouth into his lips.
“Humans are so stupid,” he mutters, the cigarette moving around his words. “It’s like you want to burn away your lifespan.” His gaze is thrown downward, casting the shadows of his eyelashes across his cheeks. They’re impossibly long. Aki can’t stop staring. Angel takes a drag from the point where Aki’s mouth had once touched, and he imagines that it’s not just smoke filling his lungs, but also Aki, flooding into all the places that he can never touch.
Maybe it's reckless, but Aki and Angel can't keep their hands to themselves.

When Kunigami has a dark day, he’s got three best friends-slash-roommates to cheer him up.
And Kunigami is pretty sure they don’t even know the light they bring to his darkest days. Bachira does not know that his pitiful attempt at homemade cookies without Isagi’s help were the first thing to make Kunigami smile for days, back when they first moved in. Isagi always seems to bring home just the right snacks that Kunigami craves when he’s not quite in the mood for dinner around the table, instead choosing to sneak something to his room.
Chigiri does not know that, in forcing Kunigami into the bedroom across the hall, he has somewhat saved Kunigami from a spiral he’s not sure he could get out of.
The sun rises for Kunigami. At the very same time, it sets - for the very person that brought the light back to his life.

this must be the best $25 isagi yoichi has ever spent in his life.
“this is fucking stupid.” his teammate and self-proclaimed arch-nemesis, michael kaiser, fiddles with the sparkly mouse ear headband on his head. it’s an obnoxiously bright pink, with a ridiculous amount of sequins covering the entire thing. to top it off, there’s also a puffy bow in the middle (also covered in sequins); with this, isagi feels like kaiser’s really selling the whole ‘spoiled brat at disney’ thing. “why don’t you wear it? you bought it.”
isagi could say something to the degree of ‘mice are small and timid, just like you on the pitch, naked emperor’ but he chooses not to, instead going for an easy, low blow: “because it’s funny.”
