    Summary

Their long black hair rustled with the movement, and in the dim lighting of the library Logan could see a few raindrops fly off of the person. Which made sense, they didn’t seem to be holding an umbrella, just a worn messenger bag, which Logan recognized.

This was the mystery man, the one that came in a few times a week randomly. He never spoke to Logan, or any of his colleagues, and he never checked out a book. Sometimes he grabbed one to read for a bit, sometimes he just sat and stared into nothing, sometimes he slept. Always at the same table, the one in the back corner of the second floor, the one that Logan had liked because it was secluded from the rest of the library.

Usually, Logan didn’t pay that much attention to the people that came to the library. Sure, there were regulars, whom Logan enjoyed chatting with amicably on occasion, but he didn’t tend to know them on sight and recognize their bag and guess their routines.

The thing about the mystery man was that he was amazingly pretty, and Logan was amazingly gay, and those two things always went amazingly hand in hand.
