Summary
He had no qualms dirtying his fingers to peel open Sunsettias because Surtalogi was never taught how to do it properly, or bruising his knees when they roughhoused because Surtalogi was never taught how to do anything kindly. They were grown now, and time had lost Surtalogi some of his edge, some of his snark. He had grown more attentive to details that didn’t matter before, when they were still childish in their endeavors, like how Dainsleif’s lashes fanned against his cheeks when he blinked. How his skin was tanner than Surtalogi’s, his lips plumper.
He spoke of marriage with a subtone of longing that might have gone unnoticed by himself, but Surtalogi was too attuned to the nuances of Dain’s voice not to catch.
“Surt?” Dainsleif asked quietly, “What’s up?”
“I think we should take a nap,” he declared, unceremoniously.
It is a daunting thing, to grow up.

"She's...she's gone?" Furina says, soft and uncertain in a way she's still not sure she's allowed. There's the familiar panic, of course - the surety that she messed up, that the act was slipping; the urge to claw out her composure until it tore her face into a smile. The old fatigue, too, but that had always been the easiest to push down. "Mir– Focalors. The, um, Hydro Archon. She's gone?"
"...yes," Neuvillette says, with a complex expression. "She was condemned to death by the Oratrice, and bore it's judgment to fulfill the prophecy. Her role in Fontaine has at last concluded, Lady Furina." He looks at her again, gaze softening further. "...as has yours."
Furina talks to Neuvillette after her trial, after the flood, and after her role is finally over.
(An extra scene at the end of the 4.2 Archon Quest, before the Traveler meets Neuvillette at the entrance to the Fortress of Meropide)

Kaveh flings himself onto the divan, and spreads out along it as far as he can go. He plasters on a smug smile. “Poetry? For leisure? I’m surprised someone as unromantic as you can appreciate and enjoy the finer intricacies of any stanza, let alone a collection like this.”
No response. No Alhaitham giving him an annoyed look and slowly inching away.
Kaveh frowns. He leans forward, feeling more than a little desperate.
“I actually did eat the last samosa,” he tells Alhaitham, very seriously and very truthfully.
Alhaitham doesn’t even twitch.
Kaveh falls victim to a curse. The results are not as transparent as he first thinks.

In Snezhnaya, seeing a Harbinger be escorted back to the palace like a scolded child was a more-than-common sight.
When the Wanderer was summoned back to the Sanctuary of Surasthana in the middle of a discussion with some new friends, he thought nothing of it.
Said friends, of course, then decided to break him out of non-existent jail.
(Alternatively, one Wanderer relearns what it means to belong, and eight idiots try to rescue a war criminal from the evil clutches of the Dendro Archon)

“Aw, you flatter me,” Xiangling teases. At this point, Xingqiu has a few chilis in his chopsticks and is slowly moving them towards Chongyun’s plate.
Wait a second. Did he just switch hands? Since when was he left-handed?
