Sangwon looks at him—takes the risk and looks at him. An ache settles on his chest, deep, so deep it’s growing roots. If this pain is what’s left from their love, then Sangwon wants to open his chest bare so Leo can hurt him once, twice, all the times he wants. This big, unbearable pain that draws across his body is nothing compared to the love he used to feel. The love is buried as deep as the roots—the roots themselves wrap around it.
