Summary
You couldn’t get far in Riddle’s town without hearing some warning about merfolk. One could expect as much from a town bordering the sea. There was always some rumor going around about sunken ships or sailors being lured to their deaths. And as a result the land-folk became to hate the people who dwelled under the water. Just as much as they feared them. Nearly everyone believed in the threat beneath the waves.
Except, of course, for Riddle.
It was just the way his parents had raised him. Why worry over merfolk when no one had seen one in a few decades? Besides, he had much more important things to worry about. Like studying and working and maybe eventually getting away from his house with the least amount of conflict possible. As far as Riddle was concerned, everything was going to be peaceful.
Unfortunately for him; the universe, (and a pair of eels) had very different, very annoying plans...

Summary
Riddle was ecstatic when he realized he had successfully convinced his mother to let him spend his last summer before his first year in school at a small seaside town near the Coral Sea. Little did he know that a sly eel was being forced into a family vacation at the same place. What will happen when their two worlds collide? Will it lead to hatred, rivalry, friendship, or maybe something more?

Aka, a Florid AU where instead of meeting at NCR, they actually met on vacation the summer before Riddle and Floyd's first year of high school, and they started dating in secret.
Also, I will be updating this every Wednesday!

Summary
Throughout Riddle’s first two years at Night Raven College, he’d rarely spent much time in any of Heartslabyul’s outdoor seating areas aside from the tea party venue. Many students spoke quite fondly of the two gazebos on the dorm’s grounds, saying it was the perfect place to study on a sunny day.
The only thing Floyd seemed interested in studying as he sat on the wooden bench that ran around the perimeter of the gazebo was Riddle.

Riddle and Floyd have an important chat about their futures.

Summary
The garden wasn’t big, but it was peaceful—benches tucked beneath shade, a shallow pond ringed with smooth stones, and beneath the water’s surface, flashes of orange and white already drifting closer.
Kalim stopped dead in his tracks.
“Oh,” he breathed. “They’re beautiful.”
Ruggie watched him instead of the fish. “Yeah. They really are.”
— kalim and ruggie were supposed to go on an aquarium double-date with jamil and azul. life, unfortunately (or fortunately!), had other plans.

Summary
“Allow me to sleep by your side, Venti.” Aqua green eyes widen, but Xiao continues, unable to stop now that the words are hovering between them. “So that we can wake up together. So we can…” ‘See a new world together.’
“Xiao…” Venti swallows, so taken aback he’s left speechless. “You…”
“I think… I would like to rest, too.” And as Venti softens, lips parting in surprise, Xiao continues on, “But only… only if it’s with you. I want it.”
Or: Xiao is free. The first thing he decides for himself... is to take a nap.

Summary
Oh, Xiao had become such an audacious moron. Balancing next to him sat a jug filled with the finest wine. A yaksha has no desire… should not… but…
He sighed and took a sip. It didn’t take more than a minute for the wind to stir. Expected. You could say… planned.“You know,” a sweet voice chuckled from the edge of the rooftop he sat on, “you could have called me.”

something about a spirit being tied and devoted to two gods instead of one is so fascinating to me
