Summary
James Potter is living a normal life with his wife and son Harry. As normal as it gets when his one year old son becomes an overnight celebrity. It comes crashing down when he is plagued by nightmarish flashbacks of events he never remembered happening. There is always the option to go to Dumbledore and get a memory blocking potion, but something about the flashbacks intrigues him, even as they threaten to, as clique as the term is, tear his world apart.

Summary
Talking was a laborious exercise. In the time it took to speak a tiny sentence, it felt like AM could have stared a hole through his dried-cadaver frame from erosion alone. The comfort of his presence was always a constant, but something must have been bothering the machine, it hadn’t given him this unsettling air in too long to say. They were on a plateau, he thought, a safe nothing-level event that had gone on for years. And before that, AM had barely deigned to interact with him for decades. Barely graced him with a touch.
