Summary

What if the Sheriff didn't turn to alcohol when his wife died... What if he focused all of his attention on helping a seven year old, recently removed from an abusive home, Isaac get settled into the Stilinski household... Where would Stiles fit into that world?

Summary
“The place you give the Bite has meaning," Derek says. "Biting someone on the side is to make them your beta. It makes them your subordinate, but it also invites them into the pack with the full protection of the alpha. Biting someone on the legs indicates that you’re turning them to an omega. And biting someone on the arm, particularly the wrist, turns someone as your equal. It’s a mating ritual.”
Stiles nearly chokes on a mouthful of granola. “A what?”

Summary
A (kind of) psychic Stiles gets offered a deal to leave his 8 year prison sentence early and be a criminal consultant with the FBI. Agent in Charge Derek Hale is assigned to be his handler on his first day back after a four month leave due to an undercover case going wrong and resulting in the death of his partner. Derek keeping his job as Agent in Charge relies on the success of Stiles and Stiles' eventual freedom depends on their success together. Simple enough.
