Summary
It wasn't typical of Bethany Beach to be so cold and snowy nearing the end of November, and through the unignorable cold, you still found your mind wandering to the car you'd seen parked near the boardwalk for a few nights in a row. Almost every time you’d walked home at night it stood in the same spot, with the same man sleeping inside it. It was a nice car, all things considered, a sleek red convertible, but it was muddy and packed full of clothes and belongings, which you only noticed from afar, because it pressed up against the windows from so much stuff being forced into it. Car guy wouldn’t even lie down across the seats to sleep because there were more things piled up in the passenger seat next to him. It must be cold, even with a big winter jacket.
