“Perhaps, except just for me,” Chan said, effectively shutting Minho off who blinked rapidly, looking between his phone and Chan with disbelief. “You might have to worry about being interrupted by me from now on, but I’m sure you’ll get used to me pretty easily. I am, after all, rude and uncooperative. It’s in my nature to get on your nerves,” he finished and winked, leaving Minho gaping after him all the way until the door slammed shut behind him.
Minho once lost everything when he was forced into retirement from competitive figure skating. Chan is insistent on giving him back everything he lost and more - even if it means he'll have to break through the fortress of ice Minho has built around himself.

Maybe in another lifetime, maybe in another universe, Minho is the one who holds Hyunjin’s hands, buys him flowers and doesn’t slam his face onto the table twice until he bleeds all over his shirt.
All the efforts he made to erase him, to push him aside and blend into a world that Minho wasn’t supposed to be a part of, have been reduced to mere remnants tossed into a trash bin. It was all for nothing, as the haunting image of those dark eyes lingers relentlessly in his thoughts. He can't shake the memory of those hands cradling his head, the undeniable strength behind them, or the chilling yet raspy timbre of his voice that echoes in his mind.
