Jimin was mad. Right away, Jungkook could tell that he was mad. If it wasn’t from the furrow in between his eyebrows, it was from the obvious frown on his lips. Still, the man worked like a professional—helping the little kids with some last minute wardrobe fixes and escorting them on stage for their first performance. Jungkook waited in the back of the room, holding the bouquet of flowers. Every now and then, he could spot Jimin glancing over at him, as if to check that he was still there.
“Alright, I have ten minutes before I have to introduce the next group of kiddies, so you have that amount of time to explain to me what the fuck you’re doing here!” Jimin whispered loudly as he made his way over to Jungkook, the frown on his lips. Yep, he was mad.
Or, Jimin and Jungkook made a promise at the beginning of their relationship to never miss out on a career opportunity for the sake of their relationship. But when Jungkook gets offered a dream opportunity, he can’t help but rethink their promise.
