Summary
Zhang hao— Emperor Hanbin’s consort— was once imprisoned under the accusation of attempting to murder the emperor’s sworn brother. Nearly a decade into his imprisonment the truth of his innocence is revealed however a misunderstanding stretched to ten years is perhaps a tragedy in itself, and one cannot escape a tragedy with words alone. It was too late. On the same day the truth is revealed, the consort’s corpse is found. In one world, a pair of star crossed lover’s sit adjacent to each other. One a soulless carcass. Another a carcass of wounded guilt.
