Summary
“I love you,” Chan says wetly in the comedown, his voice hoarse with emotion. Felix presses soothingly close to him. Jeongin, for his part, is silent and a little gobsmacked the way he gets every time they experience an orgasm; it’s kind of endearing. “All of you. I can’t believe we get to have this.”
“But we’ve got it now,” Hyunjin says, and there’s no mistaking his voice, even when Chan can’t see his face where it’s pressed into their chest. The intensity of it. “You’re mine.” A beat. “Ours,” Hyunjin adds, sounding a little petulant, like a child reminded to share his favourite toys.
“Yours,” Chan murmurs obligingly, tracing his fingers over the muscle-lithe planes of their back, his boys in their pretty dancer body, so sculpted by effort and stubbornness and life. In English, at least, there’s no distinction between the singular and plural when it comes to the standard you. “Yeah, Jinnie. Yours.”
On tetrameric intimacy. (Or, the system4system plural joy fic.)

Summary
“I understand that this operation is important to the safety of the citizens of Oahu, Detective, but the education of my students is my top priority. So while it’s… admirable that HPD took the time to send me someone who isn’t a complete dunce in the subject of economics, the question I have for you is: is your ability to teach up to our university's standards?”

Summary
They were on the precipice of something. He could feel it in the quick of his nails and the roots of his teeth. He knew Chan could feel it too, the way they looked at one another, the way their hands lingered. But Felix was on the lip of the void, and his fingers were barely holding on, and no one, not even Chan, would have been able to help him.
Felix has a hard time feeling like he’s not on the precipice of something again. He just can’t for the life of him figure out what.
(OR: Felix comes back after a year without Chan.)

Summary
"So," Chan says, slapping both hands onto Felix's checkout counter.
"So," Felix returns, flicking Chan's fingers until he removes them.
"The road trip."
"What about it?"
"I feel like we missed our window," Chan says. "Summer's probably the perfect time for it, but it's already winter."
"Guess we should call it quits."
"Nah. I was thinking we save up for the next several months, wait out winter and most of spring, and then we leave right before summer starts," Chan says, holding up a finger for each point. "It'll be hot, but not too hot."
"That sounds nice," Felix says and he means it. It feels strange to mean it. "But I'm still not convinced."
"Pack your bags, Felix Lee," Chan grins, reaching out to poke Felix's nose. "We're going on this trip."
…
Or: Felix is stuck in a mundane life. Chan is aimless after losing a promising career. Together, they decide to do something fun about it.
