She couldn’t bring herself to look Alastor in the face as she felt her own swell with heat, so she moved her gaze behind him instead. Big mistake, because he’d apparently been heading towards her dad, probably for another half-hearted argument that she was convinced was just their way of saying hello at this point. Her dad’s already pale skin was practically translucent as he sat frozen, a look crossing between shock-induced insanity, mild betrayal, and wretched indignation at the Radio Demon and his missing ex-wife being even remotely connected in the same sentence.
“Uhhh…” At this point the sound was just sticking to the back of her throat, droning white noise to fill the excruciating silence. She needed to actually say something of substance, but the words wouldn’t come out of her, as if someone was squeezing her windpipe. They were both still staring at her like she’d grown a second head. Fuck.

...Stays in Yokohama. At least, it's supposed to.
Following the recent scandal in Yokohama, the Hero Commission pressures a detective agency to be sent to Musutafu under the guise of renewing their Quirk Licenses.
Following UA's numerous controversies and the increased concern for the wellbeing of its students, the Armed Detective Agency is sent at the behest of the Special Abilities Department to Musutafu for an investigation.
With both groups trying to counteract the other, things are just a bit awkward. Oh well, at least the kids might learn something from this.

His vision is darkening. He tries to shout at Monoma to just forget the exercise and run, but his body won’t do what he tells it to do. Instead, he feels his mouth stretch itself into a bloodcurdling grin that should have been reserved only for the worst of villains. The last thing he sees before everything goes dark is him aiming at the other boy, the black lightning focusing into his arms.

And, well, in preparation for all the souls Charlie’s going to redeem, she’s realizing that—she has no idea how to make sinners happy, (and that’s kind of her whole job, so—that’s a problem).
And then—she meets Alastor. And if she knew then what she knows now, then, honestly, maybe she wouldn’t have gotten involved to begin with.
