Summary
The long winding morning train rides were, quite honestly, a headache to Junghyeok, who preferred to walk to places most of the time, but the campus was too far to do otherwise. He and Dokja had been riding the train together since Junghyeok entered university — in this case, together was used loosely, as Dokja didn’t even know who the other man was. They’d never interacted before, and it was only by coincidence that Junghyeok got to know him.
On another note, Kim Dokja was being fucking stalked. To him, it wasn’t hard to notice the ominous presence that followed him every time he went to the university from home and vice versa.

“How unfortunate for you to have someone that cares about your wellbeing.”
Kaveh laughed. “Is that what it is now? I wasn’t just disturbing your sleep?”
“Believe what you like.” It was both. Unfortunately for Alhaitham, he did care about Kaveh’s wellbeing, which is why he chose to do things like this. But it seemed no matter how often Alhaitham explicitly stated this, Kaveh would brush it off. It was a dance they had done for years, and Alhaitham didn’t make any more effort to make Kaveh understand he was serious. Kaveh wouldn’t believe him, or he would choose not to. It wouldn’t change anything if Kaveh believed it. Alhaitham would still be going through the motions of getting him to sleep in his bed on nights like this. They would still be having the same arguments. This was just another thing that had become a fact for Alhaitham about his life. Alhaitham cared about Kaveh. He would continue to care about him and for him, and Kaveh would continue to dismiss it. This was a fact that Alhaitham had learned to accept, ignoring the annoying twinge of pain that came with it.
