To tell the truth, Phainon has no idea what happened just now. He has just finished tending to the crop in the wheat field owned by his family, his body still drenched in sweat and dirt, when Mydei suddenly appears before him and takes hold of his wrist.
A hint of crimson on his lover’s ear and neck subtly reveals the thoughts that occupy Phainon’s mind. He harbors some suspicions, yet he recognizes Mydei's true nature, so those thoughts cannot possibly come to fruition, can they?

At first, Mydei felt a little lost. His head throbbed intensely, as if it were being split apart, and his body felt even more painful. Everything ached and hurt. However, the exhilaration and bliss continued to fill him, as he felt warmth radiating from his surroundings and sensed his pulse quickening. And yet, Mydei would completely welcome the chance to experience that euphoria once more if given the opportunity.
Well...
As he gazed at the rings adorning his middle and ring fingers, he found it easy to savor the moment, settling himself more comfortably between the arms that warmed him in the morning breeze.
