    He has no issue being naked with the members, much less his closest friends. But he’s still not too used to showing skin, to anyone, ever. It’s a whole thing these days.

    “I have a request,” Mingi states, looking at his shoes. Yunho wants to tell him that it’s four in the morning and he can’t be serious right now, but he keeps his mouth shut and waits. He just looks at him because dear Lord, what in the world can be so important that it can’t wait until they’re sitting in the car, Yunho driving and Mingi in the passenger seat.

    "Oh." Jongho purses his lips, regarding Wooyoung with doubt. "Then he just looks at you during rehearsals like he wants to undress you with his teeth in front of everyone for fun, then?"

    Wooyoung freezes, stomach dropping so far down that he feels it bounce at his feet. "He what?"

    With an angelic smile, Jongho plucks a red rose from one of the vases, pressing it into Wooyoung's numb hand. "On the house," he tells him, curling his fingers around the dampened stem when they neglect to move on their own. "Enjoy the Yunho. The show, I mean. Enjoy the show!"

     

    By a stroke of misfortune, Wooyoung meets Yunho, and his abhorrent personality is almost enough to keep him uninterested. Almost.

    The scene should be something out of a romantic comedy. One with a happy ending where the repressed lead finally breaks free from the shackles of society and kisses the deuteragonist square on the mouth, professing his feelings.

    With Yunho in the cast, it's the start of a tragedy. He's the clingy, obsessive, jealous crush who is never brave enough to take the leap to better himself.

    But today, Yunho doesn't want to watch that movie.

    He wants to pretend, just once, that things could be different.

    Wants to just be Yunho, alone with the boy he yearns for, even if he can't say the words out loud.

    Yunho grapples with all the ways he loves Song Mingi, and the fact that he doesn't deserve to.
