idk I just rlly don’t like stranger things anymore. fandom pushed me over the edge 😭
Long spindly appendages that must've made time slow down, at least in Will's mind. It went from the top of his shoulder to his elbow to his wrist in only a matter of seconds. Its movements were soft but that hardly gave Will any comfort at all. He kept behind Dustin as if nothing bothered him. Dustin hadn’t turned to look at him yet so that was good. Will would’ve probably given him a haunted, wide eyed look. All of it was probably over the course of a few seconds too.
He tried so many times to try and shake whatever was on him off, it didn’t work. He would think he was safe for about a millisecond before he felt the legs on him again. The process repeated until the spider finally stopped at the base of his hand.
In one swift motion the creature dug its fangs into Will’s hand before he could even get the spider off of him. He didn’t let it stay on his body for long after however, hitting it away almost as soon as he could. Should have worn shorter sleeves today, he thought.

“It’s just about practice,” David says slowly. “And I can give you that.”
“What do you mean?” Michael asks. He’s turned back to face David. A promising sign.
“I mean, you can practice. On me.” He bares his teeth, bites at the empty air, and turns it into a winning smile. Angles his face to the side and jerks a thumb at his own neck. “Maybe it’ll help, to get a feel for it first. Might make the real thing easier.”
“Yeah, right,” Michael says unsteadily. “It’s your blood that got me into this mess in the first place.”
His eyes are locked on David’s neck, though. David can see his throat working as he swallows hard. There’re the logical objections, and then there’s what even the mention of blood can conjure up for them. Logic doesn’t really stand a chance.
“So what’s the harm in a little more?” David says casually.
