“Eddie.” Richie’s voice, almost non-existent.
“Yeah?”
It was rare for Richie to be as vulnerable as he is right now. Not masking any bit of himself with any bit of humor. Saying things how they are. No punchline. No laughing. Which is why the next few words that leave Richie Trashmouth Tozier’s mouth sent ripples through Eddie.
“Please. Never fucking leave me.” A gasp releasing through Richie’s lungs. “A trace of you, a stupid fucking legacy, could never make up for the whole of you gone.”
OR
Eddie attempts to unalive himself, Richie finds him before he does. Time set a year after. TW : Drowning, mentions/reference of overdosing.
