Summary
Amos walks down the corridor to the galley, trying to decide between imitation pasta or imitation curry when he feels the grind of something hard under his boot. He lifts his foot up to find a small shard of plastic, shiny on one side and dull on the other. There are more of them in increasing size, leading to the galley like a trail of breadcrumbs. In the alcove where the coffee machine should be, there is a mess of grey duct tape holding back whatever remains.
Something terrible happened here.

Summary
Amos hauls dirt and moves water hoses. He brings Prax new slides and equipment from the storage compartment. And, after Prax shows him how, he pulls a bunch of plants from their pots, digs his big fingers up into tangled roots to free them. Root-bound, Prax calls it, when a plant confined to a small space doesn't have any more room to grow.
