Summary
After the fall of the prison, Beth Greene and Daryl Dixon found something fragile in each other — trust, hope, maybe even the beginning of something more.
Then the funeral home became a trap.
Beth survives the attack that should have taken her from him, but escaping is only the beginning. With Daryl wounded and danger pressing in from every side, the two of them are forced onto the road alone. Beth's life has been easy until one day, it isn't. She struggles to cope with the demands of surviving the apocalypse. Everyone has always protected and sheltered Beth, so she expects the same treatment as she finds her feet but one man seems to go out of his way to antagonise her. Beth starts to learn the reality of the world and people. (Beth is 18 when they meet - Beth is young but Daryl is so emotionally stunted he couldnt manipulate his way out of a paper bag) (Daryl uses some politically incorrect language but no slurs)
