“Angel, Ryland, please, I’m so fucking hungry. Please let me do something, let me drink, let me eat.” Simon dug his blunt hard fingers into Grace’s side, trying to make him fucking understand, to make him fully comprehend what he was feeling, how deep he needed this, needed him. Grace looked down at him, brows creased into a casm, concern showing through his pupils “Simon, it’s not normal blood.” He said it like it was something shameful. When Simon didn’t move, or respond, Grace took his lower lip between white teeth, head dropping to the pillow behind him. His neck was on full display, allowing Simon’s eyes to run up the full expanse of his of pale semi translucent skin, to map out every artery, flowing with bitter blood. Ryland tipped his head back forward, cheeks lightly dusted with a pink blush that only served to make the sliver of blue around his dilated pupils shine so much brighter “It’s menstrual blood.”

Or: Simon drinks blood. Grace gets his menstrual cycle back. Practically a match made in heaven.

He nuzzled into my gut, whining sadly, "It's not enough. I want to take it all away for you."
"I know." I declined to take any of the pain meds we had, since I'd hate to think about a moment where we'd need it and I wasted it on cramps. Besides, half the time, pain meds never worked on me anyway.
"Is there anything I could do for you? Truly, angel, I'll do anything for you." He gives me those desperate puppy-dog eyes, the ones I could never resist. While I don't regret not taking the medicine, I was in quite a bit of pain. Ok, a lot of pain, this freaking sucks. And while meds didn't work, I did have my own method for pain relief.
Problem is though, it was pretty controversial.

“What?”
Shrugging, Ilya turned around his phone showing some influencer eating a stick of butter.
“Like… I just eat steak, eggs, butter-”
