Summary
Ivan and Till were always tied at the hip when they were kids. No one saw Ivan without Till, and no one saw Till without Ivan. However, a friendship that was so dear faded—lost in time, never to be found again. Ivan ends up being homeschooled, and Till is left alone.
Now, Till finds himself in a band that suits his aesthetic. His hope to find Ivan has long faded away, but a dive into his memories about his childhood makes him miss his best friend all over again.
But as he blinks with disbelief at the sight in front of him, he sees a guy with the same dark hair, black eyes with a red pupil and a snaggletooth. Till felt like his world had flipped upside down, never to return to its normal side.

He preferred more neutral tones such as ivory, charcoal, or the delicate hush of mist grey— colours that asked for nothing.

Summary
Till’s stuck in a rupture, reliving the past and biding his time for the future; occasionally, he’s eased into solid moments of the present with Ivan’s touch.
Till, young and scared, had prompted a fissure between them, only to watch it widen with festering guilt. It was hard to tell when exactly things changed, when they were running their allowance dry at the arcade or sneaking out at night and when Till found himself used to his own company more than anyone else’s, watching Ivan blossom, accepted as a perfect caricature version of himself amongst groups of strangers.
Everyone was just too scared to be different and, by extension, alone. Maybe Till most of all.

Vampirism, a disease Till had been infected with. Surprisingly, he doesn't suffer as much as he'd expected until one month the blood delivery decides to leave him out due to blood donations shortage. He's starving and irritated and when Ivan, annoying Ivan, approaches, it doesn't help him situation one bit. At least until he smells blood on the raven.
