Summary
Gale is practical. He cooks their little party’s meals, he keeps track of their stocks, he marks their maps. He believes himself reasonable enough to reason, then, that he ought to take a liking to Astarion—because Astarion hangs off of Illy, as does Gale, and it would be most practical if they were all to simply hang off of eachother, no?
After all, according to his geometric studies, a triangle is quite a uniquely dependable structure.
----
In which Gale is a narrative fool blundering his way into romance, Astarion a prickly bastard intent on assuming the worst, and Illy is somewhere in the background watching chaos unfold.

Summary
“Hello there! Ah, I see you’re new around these parts. I’m old around these parts. Blind Man Cassidy is my name. If you’d like your fortune told, I just ask for a bit of gold.” He holds out a tin coffee can smothered in rust, full of empty, whistling desert air. Heat broils up around them and makes the horizon waver.

Arthur knows now, so many miles later, he never should have stopped. He never should have stopped along the trail, and he certainly never should have given that man any money. Damn this moment of charity, of weakness, and all the change it brought about. -

Dorian bartered away his freedom and independence to purchase them when he’d resigned himself to walk the path his father had designed for him. It was almost enough to build a life from, until disease rendered both his son and his marriage feeble.
A visit from a mysterious doctor threatens to turn his household, his world, and his heart upside-down.

Summary
An unexpected leader, unlikely allies. Bound by the Breach, trying to hold all of Thedas together. Thankfully, the Inquisitor doesn’t stand alone. Blind, but not without strange sight, Alexi Trevelyan makes his mark.
---
“On your feet, Trevelyan,” Vivienne tells him, “we’re not done here yet.” In his dark, her magic is such a bright thing. From a well of royal purple bursts free white arcing lightning, a chain that links the broken Templars in pain. They played such theatre in the courtyard – showed them ones yet untouched. Now he sees it clearly, in these. That which cracks at their center, the poison in their veins. Red lyrium. Cassandra and Barris work their way around the room, block the exit. Sera keeps them pinned. Vivienne makes them weak, and Alexi keeps his team healed, and strong. Denam makes the mistake of thinking him an easy target.- Language:
