Summary
Alexander Hamilton is a simple person. (He’s not.)
Thomas Jefferson knows he’s a complicated person. (He’s right.)
When Thomas takes on the plucky coffee boy he does not expect, however, to be dragged in so quickly to his own past and his longing for affection.
When Washington hires Alex he cannot believe his luck, until Thomas Jefferson’s whole attitude starts to grow on him and lines become blurred.

Summary
“Patrick,” he says, tentatively, not wanting to push him any further, “did you think this was a date?” The real question is, did he want it to be one? There’s no way.
Patrick rubs at his eye with the sleeve of Pete’s hoodie and shakes his head. “No,” he says with a sharp sniff, “I know it isn’t, but I was kind of hoping it would be by the end of the night, maybe if the movie wasn't so shitty and if I had the fucking guts to…”
He trails off, and Pete leans in closer to him.
“What are you talking about?” There’s no way, no way in hell that his best friend is into him. Things don’t ever go that well for Pete Wentz.
