Summary
Steve has never been the best at letting go, ever since he was a child with absent parents and a house void of any kind of personality he learned to hold onto any kind of memento he got his hands on. Reaching his twenties, a move to Chicago with his best friend Robin, a struggling career, and a string of failed relationships later and he still finds himself clinging to souvenirs from the past.
Things start to change when a drunken encounter leads to a chance meeting with Eddie, a bartender with dreams of opening his own bar. Together (with some assistance from Robin) they open the broken hearts gallery, a place for the broken-hearted citizens of Chicago to leave behind their baggage.
Inspired by ‘The Broken Hearts Gallery’ (knowledge of the movie not essential).

"One final thing, Mr. Buckley,” the building manager says, flipping through the immediate tenancy release forms Buck has just signed. “Do you have a place to stay for the night? We’re working with the Red Cross to offer emergency accommodation for those who need it.”
“He’ll stay with me until everything is sorted out.” Eddie doesn’t hesitate. It won’t be the first time they’ve lived together. They spent months crammed into Buck’s tiny apartment with Hen and Chimney during lockdown.
Buck looks at him and doesn’t say anything but Eddie can see the question in his eyes, are you sure?
Eddie meets his gaze, places a hand on his shoulder, and squeezes, always.

Sometimes he would raise the delicate hands of noble ladies to his lips for a brief kiss, but it was all out of propriety. He rarely touched others, but what was even rarer was others touching him. The only ones who dared were his knights, and even they only smacked his shoulder or patted his back in friendly roughhousing. Gripping each other’s arms before battle was the most heartfelt touch they exchanged. Lingering soft touches were not done. Any lingering touch on his person could be interpreted as political movements. After all, Arthur’s body wasn’t his own. It never had been. He was Camelot’s first and foremost. Even above his own needs and wants.

Summary
Henry returns to Rattay after many months away, and Heinrich sees the side of his father that loves.
“Henry!”
Three heads rise to the balcony, where Heinrich’s father is leaning over the balusters looking down. The chill wind pulls at the loose ends of his hair and the gaping collar of his tunic, though he shows no reaction to the cold. He’s almost never up this early — grousing if he’s woken before noon — but his eyes are wide awake now, fixed on Henry alone.
Heinrich senses himself shrinking back into the shape of a child, small and wet and instantly forgotten. He bristles with disappointment. Henry is beyond him now. And the courtyard, the village, the knights, the rain, his mother. All are secondary to Lord Hans Capon, who only has to call his name.
