“Of course it’s our business,” Hiyori says plainly. “Tatsumi-kun is our friend. And besides, this doesn’t just affect him. If Tatsumi-kun thinks he’s going to Hell, or some such dreary place, then what hope is there for the rest of us? We’re not as virtuous as he is, so that would surely mean we’re going someplace worse than Hell. And that doesn’t please me one bit, so we’d better do our best to convince him otherwise!”
Jun sits and stares. Hiyori frowns. “What’s that look for?”
“Nothing.” Jun and shakes his head to himself. “I’m just amazed you managed to make this about you, somehow.”
“The very fate of our souls rests on this,” Hiyori insists. “Your soul, my soul, and Tatsumi-kun’s soul. So that’s why we’re throwing him a Repayment Festival.”
(In which Jun uncovers a sad truth about Tatsumi, and Hiyori decides the best way to help a mutual friend is through song.)

“Not just couples,” says Kohaku, jaded beyond his years. “There are all sorts o’ affairs goin’ on ‘round here.”
Aira almost falls out of his seat. “Seriously?!”
“‘Course, it’s no surprise,” he continues. “Ya hear ‘bout this sort o’ thing happenin’ in places where lots o' active young people are gathered, like Olympic Villages an’ such. They say it gets even more heated when there’s competition involved, or some kinda high-stakes conflict. It’s human nature to start lookin’ for ways to relieve stress.”
“Who hooked up with who?” Aira blurts out, before furiously shaking his head. “Wait, don’t tell me! It’s an invasion of privacy, and I’ll never be able to look at everyone the same once I know!”
(Nobody in the ES dorms can ever successfully get laid, or even share a romantic moment together, but it's sure not for lack of trying.)

The sun was setting, hovering just behind the gray-green steeple. The church and the surrounding atmosphere gave off a peaceful, calming aura.
HiMERU couldn’t help but smile bitterly at the thought. He knew he was the last person that should find solace in a church.
"HiMERU-san?" someone called.
It made no sense to hear his own name in this place. For a moment HiMERU thought he must have imagined it. Then he turned to look in the direction of the voice. There was a man standing at the top of the hill.

HiMERU squeezes his eyes shut as the command works itself through his body and forces his mouth open once more. He can’t help it, he—“It’s HiMERU’s constitution. He needs…”
“Needs?” Tatsumi repeats, far too gently for someone who has HiMERU so completely under his control. It’s the worst-case scenario, the one thing he vowed he would never let Tatsumi have over him.
“Please,” he says, and the word twists his gut and pierces through his mind as he submits, unable to stop himself, “tell HiMERU what to do.”
HiMERU suffers from a peculiar problem, and Tatsumi helps him with it.

Rei has never lead Kaoru astray. He's booked him great roles, gotten him features and photoshoots, and cultivated an image for him that sticks with fans. He might act like he's a 300 year old man who can't even open a bottle by himself, but he's never made a bad decision for Kaoru's career.
So, Kaoru trusts him.
He trusts that there must be a reason behind Rei booking him a role as a villain in Yumenosaki Productions' new show, Meteor Rangers.
There must be a damn good reason.
