Jason gave him a slightly condescending pitying look.
Tim graciously ignored it and carried on, "I know what neglect is Jason and unless you think every child in the world that goes to boarding school is neglected then you've got something wrong."

Summary
Lloyd may be eight years old, but he was also raised in a boarding school for aspiring villains, then lived alone on the streets for a bit. Obviously he knows how to swear and does so liberally.
The same cannot be said for Zane, a lawful good amnesiac nindroid who spent much of his life sheltered in a treehouse in the middle of nowhere.
