Castiel doesn’t know how to describe the feeling in his chest. It’s half longing, half plea for help. Almost like a prayer, he thinks, and the thought unsettles him.
What business does any human nowadays have praying to an Angel?
The fact that Castiel feels specially attuned to the feeling is unnerving, yet it does little to hinder him from following that feeling to the source: an unconscious man lying half buried in the desert sand.
