It took a bit longer for the meaning of his words to zip through all the little power lines and paths of Annabeth’s brain, to form into an understandable concept, and once they did—

Not this guy.Annabeth Chase needs the perfect fake-boyfriend for her brother's destination wedding in Greece. Percy Jackson needs cash. Now they both majorly regret trusting their mutual friends to set them up; because a bad boy with piercings, tattoos, and black eyeliner isn't the picture-perfect all-American boy Annabeth had in mind to impress her parents with. And Percy isn't sure he can survive two weeks on an island with a snobby blonde (no matter how pretty) and her snobbier family.
