JJ finally makes it to her seat and leans her head back to catch her breath. Her mind wanders to the stunning woman that had given her the greatest weekend of her life and the way her dark hair so elegantly fanned out across the stark white of the hotel room pillow. She feels a pang of regret for leaving without saying "goodbye", but knows it was for the best. When the plane takes off to take her back to DC, she finally lets it hit her that she may never see her again. JJ jams the heels of her hands into her eyes to stop the tears that are so desperate to fall. Worried that she may be making a scene to the people sitting next to her, JJ takes a deep breath and drags her hands down her face and feels something hard rub against her cheek. JJ's eyes go wide as they fall on a delicate gold band sitting comfortable on the third finger of her left hand.

Summary
Dumbledore doesn't make it in time for Harry's trial, and the outcome is very different. Harry is expelled, his wand snapped.
But he refuses to give up. And he is done waiting around for Albus Dumbledore to give him information.
