Summary
Galadriel swears that Elrond looks just like Turgon. Celeborn wouldn’t know. Sometimes he sees a glimpse of Eärendil in him, so he supposes that must be from Turgon, but really Elrond looks like Elwing, and even more than that he looks like Dior. He supposes Elrond has no way of knowing that. He’s probably been told countless times that spitting image of each Finwean prince, but there has been no one to tell him that he looks more like a brief-lived Sindarin king than any Noldo. Sometimes it is uncanny, and Celeborn’s heart leaps, thinking for a moment that Dior is alive.
And then he sees Elrond’s Noldorin braids, and hears his lilting voice speaking Quenya, and sees his fingers and wrists bejeweled with rings and bracelets, and the illusion is gone.

"All around the cliffside are young dragonriders in training: studying for their lessons, practicing their sparring, caring for the young dragons. It reminds me of when we were younger, just learning how to ride and compete, unaware that we’d actually need to use these skills someday. That they’d determine life and death. Still, it’s heartening to see the next generation of dragonriders being raised under a new system, and to know that Lee and I are the ones behind it. Aela’s excitement spikes as we touch down on the lawn, sending a wave of euphoria through me, and I barely have time to cut my bootstraps and dismount before she goes bounding off. I look up to watch her go, though I already know who she’s running to."
_One year after the revolution, Annie and Aela visit Lee at Farhall.

Imladris, Year 152 of the Third Age
Elrohir is young enough to still be very excited about being allowed to start his first lessons, soon. Out of all people, he has elected the reserved, hard to approach librarian Erestor to be his teacher and subsequently tries to win him over with determination, surprise attacks and a lot of eager persistence. Spoiler: It works a lot better than any of the two of them had expected.
