Summary
Nishino could never claim that she had a horrible life. She had a roof over her head, food, water, clothes. She went to a good school, had a good amount of friends. Complaining would be ungrateful. Sure, she had to take on the role of a parent towards her siblings, but if not her who could help her Mom? She felt like she could handle it; bottling up her bitter feelings and shoving them far away into the depths of her mind and the corner of her heart, was something she had gotten adjusted to.

“...Do you think we meet in every universe?”
Nishino blinks once. Then a second time. Then she scrunches up her face and thinks about it.
“Like... In alternate universes?”
“Are you not aware of the theory?”
“I am, it’s just...” Her words trail off. It’s a question she isn’t sure how to answer. Logically- it makes sense that the answer would be no. If there are infinite universes, then mathematically there has to be at least one where they don’t meet.
But... That just feels wrong. The idea of there being a Watari Nishino who doesn’t get to meet Okazaki Hanano-
“Yeah, I bet we do.” She says, hands on her hips and a smile on her lips.
