Kuramochi dreams of pink seaweed, of pale red laver drifting along the ocean tide. He dreams of seafoam, and dark red swirling through the pull of the current. The roar of rushing water, and the tang of salt coating his mouth, prickling his eyes; the crushing weight of the ocean above him, and black depths disappearing beneath his feet.
A singsong voice, low and heavy as it breathes into his ear—
Kuramochi finds himself shipwrecked, with only the presence of a strange, lone siren for company.
