Staring. Vox felt eyes on them—on him. Shame. Vox felt shameful and angry and humiliated—
It almost hurt worse than his brain literally melting.
"Ay carino—its okay, it'll be alright—Estoy aquí mismo.."
Vox felt hands next. Hooked under his thighs before he was lifted up. His head lolled to the side, body trembling as much as it was still weakly spasming. Still, Vox tried to wriggle away. He hated this, every part of it. The pain wasn't manageable by any means, but the stares only made him want to fry his own brain faster.
Val yelped, but did not drop him, or even relinquish his hold in the slightest at the hot sparks flying off his lovers form. As painful as they probably were.
Vox hated it.
Vox hated how safe he felt in that hold.
