It's been three years since Sherri Valance's life was turned upside down and inside out, and she's still trying to cope with the aftermath. One thing she knows for certain is that she is sick of playing pretend with the other socs.Though struggling to develop her identity as she explores beyond the limits of her social bubble, she is slowly starting to discover what's important to her.
I wrote this for a fan fiction contest at my college and won first place :).

Summary
Johnny is alone again on a rainy night. Dallas finds him in the lot and decides to take him to the Curtis house. In the warmth of Buck's old T-bird, Johnny has some time to muse on things: Patsy Cline's singing, Tulsa at night, and, of course, Dally himself.
This oneshot is intended to be a bittersweet snapshot into Johnny and Dallas's relationship prior to the events of the book/musical.
