Summary
Alex couldn’t help but think of how different things would’ve been if it didn’t feel like the universe was out to get him. Maybe he would’ve won the championship, or at the very least there would’ve been a closer fight between himself and Emanuele. He didn’t let himself think about it too much, though, as he didn’t want his own mood to sour the team celebrations. He could wallow in his misery some other time.

Alex couldn’t wait to relax a bit after what was a triple header filled with mixed emotions. While Imola and Barcelona were good weekends, the events of Monaco still replayed in his head constantly. Luckily for him, he had a full 3 week break before the next race. Or that’s what he thought — not even 5 minutes after returning home, he got a text from his good friend, Luke.

Alex always loved surprising him and no matter how hard he would try, Alex would never budge.

Summary
It had been a couple races since Logan’s rooftop incident with James, and ever since that moment he couldn’t stop thinking about it. Being on that rooftop, one step away from death was the most peace he’d felt in a long time. It was a weird feeling — being on the brink of death but not actually wanting to die. The longer he thought about it, though, the more he realised that he actually didn’t mind dying. He’d convinced James that he was suicidal, but in the process he might’ve convinced himself too.
AKA logan realises what he told james in monza may have had more truth to it than he thought

Logan was panicking, why didn’t he know about this? He was already in Monza, was already preparing for the race. This had to be some sort of sick, elaborate joke, right? There was no way the team would drop him without warning.
AKA logan gets dropped midseason but manipulates james into giving him his seat back

What a lie. Logan knew that he could never be satisfied, not when he was one position away from scoring the points he’s been longing for since he started Formula 1. Since when was he fighting for one measly point anyways? He was Logan Sargeant, Formula 1 driver, karting world champion, the first American to score points in F1 in 30 years.
AKA logan is upset that he still wasnt able to score points even after a good race, and alex notices and tries to help, but he fails miserably
