Jisung gave a nervous gulp. “Your boyfriend!” he repeated in an overly enthusiastic voice. An achingly noticeable pause limped along before Jisung wrapped his arm around Minho’s waist, his muscles stiff with awkwardness. “Yes. That’s me. Your boyfriend. Thanks for the reminder, honey… bunch… bunches of oats.”
Minho forced out a laugh. “Right. You’re so silly, uh… Fruit Loop.”
After unexpectedly seeing his ex at a holiday party, Minho pretends to be dating Jisung to keep his pride intact. Predictably, hijinks occur.

“Do you want to go to prom with me instead?” Minho asked.
Seungmin heard the lead from her mechanical pencil snap when she pressed it too hard against the paper.
“Huh?” she replied intelligently, looking up at Minho to find her watching her intently.
“Kim Seungmin, go with me to prom.”
Her expression was oddly serious, eyes focused on Seungmin's face in a way that had heat blooming under the collar of her sweater.
This had to be a joke.
