Summary
Two years ago, Jimin had gone missing and Jungkook had spent the last 823 days to get over his first love and upon entering college he finally had settled into a life that didn't contain the silver-haired dancer. Although didn't contain wasn't the whole truth as Jungkook used every drop of paint he could get to keep the picture of Jimin vivid and alive in front of his own eyes. So, college was more of a distraction than a solution. Jungkook knew that what he was doing right now, painting Jimin whenever he had a minute to spare, would only hurt him more in the long run as Jimin wouldn't simply reemerge from the shadows. Did this stop him from painting Jimin dozens if not hundreds of times? Well, to put it simple, he couldn't enter his own apartment without stumbling over a painting of two beautiful crescents staring right back at him. Jungkook couldn't know that Jimin wasn't silver-haired anymore or that the now orange-haired man was closer than ever. Or that he would stumble over the dancer in his favorite art studio. At last.
Alternatively, the story of Jimin and Jungkook finally getting their happy ending.

"That's right," Jimin says from right beside him again. "Don't argue. Just listen. You're going to change me back in the next few days, and I'll be right beside you the entire time to ensure you don't focus on anything else. From now on, I won't leave your sight until you fix this."
"Metaphorical sight?" Jungkook can't help the words falling from his mouth, even though he knows they'll rile Jimin up further. It's only when Jimin's around that he can't help but tease and argue. This time, he expects the retaliation and manages to duck away as Jimin tries to flick his ear.
"I'm going to kill you the second you turn me back," Jimin sniffs again.
Or, apprentice magician Jungkook accidentally turns his friend-turned-rival Jimin invisible, and is left to deal with the consequences.

This is my absolute favorite skz story and one of the best stories on ao3 I read so far (and I read a whole lot), I’m in absolute love with this masterpiece!! The pacing, the characters, the symbols and dynamics are just so well done! A must read!! I can’t believe this amazing piece of writing was gifted to me *sparkles* everyone should do themselves a favor and read this, No Shit Sherlock truly leaves u in the good kind of shambles!!
