Seeing Aether defeated by the Shogun in a single strike, Thoma gambles it all on a fling of a spear that should have struck true, but only for it to be parried, dooming him, Aether, and Paimon to death by the Narukami's blade. Even so, in his last moments, Thoma's faith to the Lord of Anemo proves it has yet to falter, however.

Summary
The ever-luckless adventurer Bennett has always been fated to meet his doom in that accursed ruin; to die lonely and miserably, with none to ever find him — if not for the fact that the winds shall never abandon a Child of Freedom.
As Bennett's unconscious body grapples with his mortal wounds, the gales of Teyvat settle upon Natlan, for the Lord of Anemo soon bargains with the Lady of Fire for the sake of one Bennett of Mondstadt.
(An alternate take on how Bennett gets his Vision, but in an Alternate Universe where Archons bestow Visions, not Celestia.)

The Irminsul Tree records the entirety of Teyvat and its Yesteryears, but those moments yet to happen and which shall never transpire are beyond the memories of that Great Tree.
Nevertheless, the Thousand Winds remembers all, even matters which will never have come to pass; "the Winds now Whisper, let those with ears hear!"

- A draft titled, "The Union of Wynderia,"
- A review of, '... Sangonomiya Folk Belief', and
- A draft of, "Practical Political Pamphlet on Liyue".
Found slipped between the empty pages of the manuscript was a scrap of paper, reading:
I'M SORRY I WILL COME UP WITH A BETTER NAME FOR YOU NEXT TIME
Since it was written with a lime-coloured crayon and its authorship unidentifiable, it was disposed of forthwith.Series

Summary
The unfinished document soared higher until it floated just above Jean's head, taunting her efforts to reclaim it. Frustrated, Jean jumped, trying to reach the elusive paper. Just as her fingertips brushed against it, the paper danced playfully in the wind through the open window, leaving.
Jean looked out the window, her eyes ablaze with disbelief, silently scorching the document with her gaze as it floated away.
"Oh, Barbatos, Jean, I'm so sorry," Barbara exclaimed, her face flushing with a mix of shame and anxiety. She shook her head in agitation, her ponytails fluttering anxiously. "I didn't know this would happen. I'll find it, I promise! I'll bring it back to you!"
The winds of Mondstadt had cruelly snatched her 4-hour work.
"It seems the paper has flown towards the statue," Barbara observed, her voice a mix of shame and determination. "I'll ask the people if they’ve seen it!"
Jean feels betrayed by her own element.
