“Yeonjunnie.” Beomgyu breaks the comfortable silence that falls over them.
Yeonjun opens his eyes to meet Beomgyu, finding that strange, serious expression again. He hums, waiting for the rest of his boyfriend’s sentence.
Beomgyu doesn’t keep him waiting. He awkwardly leans himself over, bringing his face closer to Yeonjun. With a chaste peck on his lips, Beomgyu says, voice low, “You look really pretty today. Like…really pretty.”

Summary
Yeonjun was in the compound, the space was far different from the house he shared with Beomgyu. His father was against it, in the beginning, citing security concerns, but Beomgyu had felt uncomfortable in the compound. It was only logical that Yeonjun moved out with Beomgyu then, because even back then, the thought of the two of them separating was unfathomable.
Now, it made Yeonjun grateful. Keeping his actual place of residence a secret had afforded him more security and privacy than staying at the compound would have, it also meant that Yeonjun could freely do the dirty work without worrying about Beomgyu walking in.
So when he stabbed the man in front of him, he did not feel sorry or even the slightest bit of remorse.
or; 5 times Yeonjun shed blood while thinking of his love, and the 1 time Beomgyu returned the favour.
