Summary
The symptoms started off small, completely unnoticeable in their silent growth. He couldn't tell you when this all began even if he tried. All he could say was that one day he was okay and the next it was almost impossible to breathe.
It's alright though. It is. He's Karamatsu. The boy meant to take hits and come back with a smile. So smile he would. Even when his body finally gives out, he will keep smiling until there's not a single breath in him left.

In the morning, far too early as far as Noctis is concerned, they wander over to the chocobo pens. Noctis has to blink a few times, because the guy standing there is the cutest guy he's ever seen. Blond hair, freckles, intense eyes, and a big, winning smile. Damn, maybe it's worth getting up early for after all.
"Hi! I'm Prompto!" the guy says, sticking out his hand. Either Wiz didn't tell him who their guests are, or Prompto's not a stickler for royal etiquette.
