Summary
After a simple 'trust me on this' from Tony Stark, Darcy Lewis found herself in the 1940's having to rely on his playboy father to get back home. With the bittersweet knowledge that James Barnes was long dead in her own time, she forged a friendship with him that brought her close to Steve Rogers, too. However, it was the unexpected realization of who both Howard and Tony would mean to her in the future that truly shook Darcy to her very foundations. Forced to leave the 40's for her own safety, she resolves to return to Howard, with Tony's help.
Steve Rogers woke up in 2011 to a new world and an old friend. Darcy's guidance was invaluable, but became complicated when he realized he was falling hard for her future son. Hiding that from a man as smart as Tony Stark was hard enough before SHIELD's fall and the tragedy in Sokovia. What Steve really hadn't been prepared for was the chance that he didn't have to hide his feelings at all, until Zola's file on Bucky threatens to destroy everything.
This is a story about perspectives. It's a story about love, fate, what's set in stone, and what it means to change.

Summary
When Tony Stark's childhood friend goes missing during an archeological dig in the jungles of Colombia, he reluctantly takes Steve up on an offer to have James Barnes help track her down.
Dr. Isabella Briggs never meant to get caught up in a world of secrets and wars. She had an agreement with SHIELD, sure, but she never expected that her research would bring the very safety of the planet into question.
Bucky wants redemption from his past, and as a last ditch effort joins Steve on his trip to Colombia to appease the man whose family he slaughtered.
Tony wants to keep Isabella safe, but he can't protect her from the secrets she hides from him.
No one is prepared for the truth; and when reality blows into everyone's faces, they can only hope to pick up the pieces and save the world at the same time.
