Summary
Graveyard mud, heavy and dark, clinging to a stained and torn suit. One shoe missing, a leg bent awkwardly and blood staining a bare foot.
Milk white skin beneath the mud, black hair hanging in muddy clumps around his ears. Blue eyes staring back at him, animal-bright and dilated in the brief moment before he flinches back from the light with a cry of pain that stabs through Jason to the soul.
His shaking hand closes around the flashlight before he can even think about it, cutting off the piercing beam and letting it spill out in shards between his fingers. For a petrifying moment as his eyes readjust, he’s sure that when he looks again, there will be nothing there.
“Tim?” he whispers.
The lean and ragged figure, tiny, god he’s so small, lowers his hands away from his face, away from his eyes wide and glittering almost silver in the moonlight.
Hands, mud-covered and torn. The red of his shredded fingernails is sickeningly dark in the broken light.
He’s vomiting before he even feels the bile making its way up his throat.

Summary
“Jesus Christ, Steph,” Tim sighed in frustration and raked a hand through his hair. “You care more about me not telling you there was an elephant than about the fact that there was a rampaging elephant. You only care about my problems when you can make them about you.”
Coming out isn't always sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes, break-ups should hurt, at least a little.

Bookmarker's Notes
End notes, controversial, yet entirely accurate. I've never liked Stephanie Brown, i find her character to be flat, especially after the inclusion of Cass who has a much more varied and complex chatacter despite her background. I think to build of Tim's network, or maybe even to showcase male/female friendship, Darla and Callie where better options. Even Cassie and Cissie King-Jones served similar purposes.

“Oh my god Dick, we are not doing this thing where I suggest you a thousand places and you shoot every one down without giving any of your own suggestions!”
“Okay, okay, I get it. We can do Melina’s.”
Bab’s shook her head. “No, you know what? No, we’ll look for something else, okay?”
Dick’s shoulders sagged in defeat. “I’m sorry Babs, okay? Melina’s is fine.”
Bab’s voice took on a twinge of annoyance higher than before. “I just said we’ll do something else.”
Dick had opened his mouth, but before his subconscious could decide, there was a knock on the door.
“Coming,” Dick shouted, immediately getting up from the couch
Upon opening the door, Dick was welcomed to his favorite ball of 4’-something charm, Timothy Jackson Drake.
“Hey Dick!”
Dick sighed fondly. “Hey Tim,” he gave warmly. This was unexpected, and he certainly wasn’t going to let it show, but slightly unwelcome. He’d told Tim tonight was his date night, and hoped Tim would realize he shouldn’t interrupt it, but—
“I brought you guys dinner!” It was at this point Dick noticed a literal catering ass cart that Tim had attached to his belt strap with a bungee hook, pulling behind him in the hallway.Series

Summary
There’s not really a point in owning a car, especially with the cost of insurance. With the threat of student debt looming overhead like a cloud, Bernard can’t afford to buy a car without help, and there’s no way he’ll ever ask Tim.
So Bernard doesn’t really drive. He’s happy to let his weirdly specific driving skills get swept under the rug, because the thing he has with Tim still feels delicate and new, and he doesn’t want to ruin it by bringing up that his uncle was in a gang and hey, he just happened to teach Bernard how to drive. Bernard wants to avoid any kind of conversation around crime in Gotham, actually. Especially after what happened in high school.
It’s not like he’s ever going to need to drive a getaway car, anyway. As far as Bernard is concerned, it’ll never come up.
Bernard learned to drive from his henchman uncle. The last place he expects to use this skill is at a dinner with his boyfriend's family.
